About the Workshop

For an entire week, we will be guiding children on their journey to the process of learning transformative theatre. In this workshop children begin the theatrical process with the heart, allowing themselves to feel and process the emotional aspect of performance. From there the intellectual process where maps and performance tactics are established and ultimately concluding with the physical release of movement into the performance. By teaching theater through the heart, head, and hand we hope to help shape the children into promising young performers but also find a true sense of wonder in the world of theatre. Our hope to move these human beings through the process of finding the joy with in the arts. The week will conclude with a complete production!
